Divorce Advice

  1. Generally, it is better not to get divorced. Try to negotiate differences with your spouse.

  2. If you can not negotiate differences, try to arrange your own divorce through yourselves, or seek the help of a mediator who specializes in family law.

  3. If your spouse refuses to arrange a divorce, though negotiation or mediation, then get an attorney.

  4. Do not move out of your home, if possible, because the spouse living in the house will have a better chance of getting the home in court.

  5. Get a post office box for your mail.
